DescriptionThis WWII AAF writing pad is a reproduction of WWII U.S. Army Air Force stationary and is approximately 9 inches x 6 inches.Soldiers would often use writing tablets or loose stationary to write letters home. AAF troops were no exception. In fact, it’s believed that, despite the popularity and encouragement to use V-mail, most letters were written on regular stationary and sent via air mail. Base letterhead was also used for some official correspondence.
